Growing up in the Kootenays snowboarding has always been a big part of my life, and about five years ago now I started pursuing a career in guiding as a way to snowboard for a living. I am very grateful to the NMCBDF for supporting me in this journey, and have used the funding to take the CAA Avalanche Operations Level 2 course in November of 2023. I’ve been working for Baldface since 2019, and have been using my recently improved snow study skills every day on the guiding program. Thanks again for the support!
